Thefirst time he met Sue Ann Mak in 2000 “she seemed like a 16-year-oldknow-it-all,” said missionary Robert Reagan. Nonetheless, Reagan allowed Mak, aChinese Malaysian who speaks with an Australian accent, to join the internshipprogram he oversees in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Duringthe three-week program in 2003 Mak organized an on-campus prayer time with fiveother young women. A year later she returned for a one-month internship.

InAugust 2004 Mak returned to her home country and helped launch a campusministry at Tunku Abdul Rahman College in Kuala Lumpur.

Herpassion for the work encouraged church member Admen Ng to get involved. He nowserves as campus minister for the school.

“Morethan a dozen non-Christians are now a regular part of this ministry,” Reagansaid.
