Spotlight: Faith in God and in each other

LUBBOCK, TX — After 70 years of marriage, Lewis and Lola Ritchey remain “soul mates” who share a deep faith in God and a desire to spread the gospel.

The Ritcheys, membersof the Sunset church, estimate they have communicated with at least 5,000students since they began grading Bible correspondence courses from all overthe world.
“It takes all thespare time I’ve got when the arthritis isn’t acting up,” Lola, 88, told theLubbock Avalanche-Journal. “I spend anywhere from an hour to all day on thecorrespondence.”

Theywere married Dec. 22, 1935.
