What began as a one-day undertaking when the congregation was planted 10 years ago has grown into a six-week effort, minister Ron Clark said.
This summer, efforts focused on offering peace and safety to those needing transitional housing as well as helping overworked and understaffed service providers.
Mission groups came from the Federal Way Church of Christ in Washington state, the Chillicothe Church of Christ in Missouri, the Park Plaza Church of Christ in Tulsa, Okla., and the Eastside Church of Christ in Portland.
