Read the JUNE print edition now.
We’re pleased to offer our readers the opportunity to download, view and print the .pdf version of each month’s version of the print Chronicle.
Access is free and available to all visitors. Just click “Download a Copy” from the “Print Edition” section near the top right of the page. A selection of back issues is also available.
The move will not affect presentation of print stories on the site itself, but instead allows our online audience access to each month’s print publication in its entirety.
“This move represents a desire by the Chronicle’s board of trustees and staff members to make it more accessible to new media users as well as its large international audience,” said Lynn McMillon, editor, publisher and CEO.
The option addresses our desire to honor subscribers’ wishes for a greener, more environmentally friendly option to read and preserve each month’s stories and features. Additionally, users can see print-only versions of display advertisements.
Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free download available online, is required to use this feature. The latest version is recommended for font compatibility.
In the coming weeks and months, staff will begin adding back issues for research and review purposes. We invite you to check back often as these become available.
