Soundings, literary journal published through the language and literature department and English Honors Society at Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City, first runner-up award for best literary journal at the Sigma Tau Delta annual conference. Student editors are Roy Rhodes and Angela Bebb and faculty sponsor is Peggy Gipson. Kimberly Britton, 2008-2009 Professor of the Year by students at Ohio Valley University in Vienna, W.Va. Britton attends the Pennsboro, W.Va., church. David Wadlington, head women’s basketball coach, Ohio Valley University.
