Cross Roads
At every crossroads, prayer has brought a sign
From God to show which way He willed be mine.
Although I often grumbled at His choice
And tried to reason with Him, I rejoice
That I’ve been blind enough by faith to trust
And make reluctant feet wade mud, tread dust
When best. Those feet are toughened now and strong
For walking, be my journey brief or long,
To that divergence where, my sure sign come,
The humble path revealed shall lead me Home.
