Judy Miller, wife of ‘filmstrip evangelist’ Jule Miller, dies at 86

Author and women’s Bible class teacher Judy Miller, the wife of multimedia evangelist Jule Miller, died Oct. 20 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was 86.
She was married for 52 years to Jule LeGrose Miller, creator of the The Visualized Bible Study Series
(known among Churches of Christ as “the Jule Miller filmstrips”).
Jule Miller died in 2000 at age 75.
Judy Miller was a longtime member of Southeast Church of Christ in Friendswood, Texas, and a current member of Watters Road Church of Christ in Pasadena, Texas, both near Houston.

Her gifts in drama, oratory, and spiritual wisdom, along with her love for home and hearth, made her the perfect help-mate for Jule. Together they traveled the country telling the story of Jesus, entertaining with magic shows which included spiritual applications, and training people how to lead souls to the Savior.
Judy wrote 18 inspirational books. Her mentoring included teaching ladies’ Bible classes until she was in her 80’s.
