First Colony Church of Christ, Sugar Land, Texas
Two years ago, we outgrew our facility. We had an auditorium that seated 450 and we were having three services. We now have a new facility that seats 750 and have had to go to three services again to be able to serve our needs.
We are not only growing numerically, but most important of all, we are growing spiritually.
We have so many members who are teaching other individuals and bringing them to Christ. It is a wonderful experience to see so many people giving their lives and hearts to the Lord.
Also, we have numerous home study groups and home fellowship groups in addition to our regular Sunday and Wednesday classes.
Our six Elders are all men of spiritual depth and hard-working. More than 50 deacons assist in serving the congregation, along with a godly staff and those members who are greeters, ushers, worship team members and those waiting on the table.
More than 100 people are required to make the three services complete and orderly in addition to more than 100 teachers for our classes.
