Barry Andrew Woodhouse, Memorial

Barry Andrew Woodhouse, 54, passed away suddenly early Saturday, March 7.

He was a native of Cary, N.C., and had a heart for his family and for the special needs community.
Barry lived his life with tremendous passion, humor and kindness.
Barry graduated from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn., where he found the love of his life, Paula Beverly. Together they began a special needs ministry at Brooks Avenue Church of Christ in Raleigh, N.C., to serve their daughter, Melissa. The ministry grew and has touched many lives across the country.
Barry’s legacy will continue at the 15th annual Spring Carnival for Special Needs Children on April 11th.
Barry served as a deacon and could be found cooking in the church kitchen, dishing out hospitality and humor. For one week each summer, Barry served as head cook at Carolina Bible Camp in Mocksville, N.C.
Barry will be greatly missed by his wife of 27 years, Paula, their three beautiful daughters, Melissa, Morgan and Maggie, parents Ed and Betty Ann, brother Eddie and sister Anna, nieces, nephews, friends and his Brooks Avenue Church of Christ family.
