West Texas church collecting funds for wildfire victims

Wildfires near Fort Davis in West Texas have burned more than 120,000 acres and destroyed as many as 50 homes, according to news reports.
I received this note from Greg Fleming, minister of the North A Church of Christ in Midland, Texas:

I spoke with Greg Meads, who preaches for the Fort Davis Church of Christ, to ask what anyone can do who wishes to help those in their town who have lost possessions due to the fire. Greg indicated that there is no need for food or clothing but that the congregation there would like to help families rebuild who have lost their houses.
He suggested that the best thing that can be done to help toward that end is to contribute money, and the congregation has set up a committee from their membership that will administer any funds sent to them.
So if you wish to donate, you may write a check to the Fort Davis Church of Christ.
