Video: Tennessee church member Janelle Arthur performs on ‘American Idol’

Janelle Arthur, a member of the Oliver Springs Church of Christ in Tennesee, is a contestant on “American Idol.”
“I’m the next American Idol because I’m a dreamer, y’all,” the 23-year-old fitness instructor tells the judges in the above video.
Oliver Springs minister Bruce Holt said Arthur grew up in the congregation and is “a faithful member of the church.”

  It is so nice to see Christians do well in competition! Janelle has a beautiful voice and is beautiful on the outside. I am so glad that she is dedicated to Jesus The Christ!
