Video: Ohio church has new home
WKBN in Youngstown, Ohio, reports:
Church officials helped cut the ribbon on the new place of worship located on Bazetta Road and welcomed the congregation for the first day of worship at Cortland Church of Christ.
The church started more than 10 years ago, but never opened an official building. The project started several years ago and it took time to build the funds before construction began in June.
Church officials said while the construction is completed, their work is far from over.
“We’re not going to use this as a place just to house us,” said Elder Victor Rossi. “We want to use this as a base to reach out to the community in Bazetta. To see what we can do for Bazetta and the local people. Meet their needs and spread God’s word.”
