Video of flash mob at Christian school: Watch it maybe
At the recent Back-to-School Bash at Columbia Academy, a Tennessee school associated with Churches of Christ, about 150 students, teachers and parents surprised the crowd with a flash mob.
The performance was set to the tune of the hit pop song “Call Me Maybe.”
Columbia Academy has more than 750 students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade this fall.
FeedbackWe in the C of C never did learn to dance, did we?GloriaAugust, 22 2012Maybe not but we can still have fun.EarleneAugust, 22 2012That is so cute–good clean fun, and helps them use up all that extra energy that I wish I still had!!SharonAugust, 22 2012Great fun! My son, his wife and my grandbaby live in TN. I learned to dance as a child in NYC. I hope my grandson learns too. Good clean fun.SandyAugust, 23 2012Good for them!
However, they seem to be having a lot of fun so, for some, there has to be some sin in there someplace.Harold WilliamsAugust, 23 2012How appropriate is it for a group of youth at any school to dance to a song with the lyric – “ripped jeans, skin was showing” or “I trade my soul for a wish.” As a father of two young girls, 8 and 5 years old, I find this appalling.Brian GrahamAugust, 24 2012
