Video: Hundreds warned of ‘Satan’s attacks’ at Tennessee youth conference

Sex before marriage, cohabitation and Christian family life were among the topics at the 36th Annual Tennessee State Youth Conference in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Three area Churches of Christ hosted the event, under the direction of Dewayne Benton of the Avondale Church of Christ.

This year’s theme was centered on the topic, “Satan’s Attacks.” The conference culminated with a mass worship service at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo, consisting of youth attending the conference as well as members of local congregations.
The morning sermon was delivered by Eric Garner, minister of the Avondale congregation and centered on three vital points. Garner reminded his audience that God ordained and sanctioned three institutions. (1) The Home (2) The Church (3) The Government.
Minister Garner did a masterful job in breaking down how Satan attacks us in each of these three areas. The summation was that Satan’s tactics are the same as they were from the beginning. Unless he can attack your thought process he can’t win control over you.
