UPS delivers new president to Eastern European Mission
Eastern European Mission, a church-supported ministry that provides Bible and biblical literature to the nations of the former Soviet Union, has appointed a new president.
Bill Bundy comes to EEM after nearly four decades of experience with United Parcel Service, better known to the world as UPS.
(No word yet on whether or not EEM employees will be required to wear brown shorts as they transport Bibles throughout Eastern Europe.)

The youngest of 12 children, Bill learned early on the intrinsic value of hard work, and began his career with UPS on its loading dock in Lubbock, TX. Before he even completed college, Bundy was plucked for a leadership role, and over the next 36 years his solid grasp of the financial and operational aspects of the business saw him promoted to his eventual position as Senior Vice-President for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
“Bill’s senior-level experience with the world’s largest global delivery service makes him uniquely qualified to handle the logistical responsibilities of leading our mission,” said EEM board member, Dr. Charles L. Branch, Jr. “But it is his deep spiritual commitment to the strength of God’s word and the power of serving others that make him an ideal fit to shepherd EEM’s initiatives.”
A graduate of Lubbock Christian University, Bill has been dedicated to serving his community through Christ from a young age. As UPS sent him around the world, he sought a calling in each local community, from teaching Bible classes, to serving as an elder, and planting a church while in Cumming, GA.
“My tenure with UPS certainly prepared me for this new role with EEM,” said Bill. “Both positions hinge on being able to ensure the logistics are in place to deliver something to the recipient who needs it. With EEM, I’ll be able to utilize my work experience to allow me to fulfill my personal commitment to sharing the Gospel with thousands who are anxious to receive it.”
Bill and his wife Dee Dee live in Graham, TX. They have two children and five grandchildren.
