Two churches in United Kingdom close

The Holywood church, Northern Ireland, and the Cardiff, Wales, church have shut their doors, according to British church publication Christian Worker.

The23-year-old Holywood church ceased to meet as of Oct. 2. Church members willmeet with the church in nearby Newtownards, said minister Alex McGuiggan.

“Weask for your prayers in order that we can continue to serve God effectively inthis new situation,” McGuiggan said.

Formermembers of the Cardiff church planned to jointhe Newportcongregation, said minister Gwyn Speck, adding that the decision came after hewas diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

“Hopefully,with a much larger membership, we can all work together in spreading the wordin this corner of Wales,”he said.
