Top Christian bloggers honored in Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. — Top Christian bloggers were honored during a luncheon held in conjunction with the recent International Soul Winning Workshop.
Trey Morgan, minister of the Childress, Texas, church, was recognized as Blogger of the Year.
The inaugural awards, decided by online voting, were sponsored by the blog and Web hosting service TheoBloggers.
“I think Christian blogging is important because it allows me to be a positive voice in a world where there is so much negativity toward God, Christianity and family,” said Morgan, who blogs at www.treymorgan.net. Also honored were Laura Coppinger of the East Hill church in York, Neb.; Patrick Mead of the Rochester Hills, Mich., church; John Dobbs of the Forsythe church in Monroe, La.; John Mark Hicks of the Woodmont Hills church in Nashville, Tenn.; Sarah Stirman of the Southern Hills church in Abilene, Texas; and Steve Tucker of the Ogallala, Neb., church.
