The press process
The hard work comes together on what we call Press Day. Editor Erik Tryggestad finalizes the layout and a team of staff members read over every article and ad, making final edits.
For six years, The Christian Chronicle’s final product has been sent to OPUBCO, in Oklahoma City, Okla. However, the October 2016 issue is the last one OPUBCO will print. The company has decided to shut their press down.
Starting with the November 2016 issue we will be working with a new company.
We have enjoyed working with the folks at OPUBCO. They have always been a pleasure to work with. We pray for each of them as they begin their next journey — for some that is retirement, for others it means starting a new career.
As we get ready for this change we thought it would be fun to show you a little behind the scenes look at the role OPUBCO plays in getting The Chronicle to your mailbox.
