To be honest, those words really don’t feel strong enough to express the gratitude we feel.
This year, we had a big goal for #GivingTuesday. We set out to meet what started as a $9,000 matching challenge. Then, hours into Giving Tuesday, we received more matching funds, setting the challenge to $12,000!
We did our best to get the word out, and so many of you responded.
For that we are grateful.
While we did not meet the $12,000 goal, we did raise a record amount for the single day of giving.
Between the Facebook fundraiser, our website and a few phone and snail mail gifts we raised $8,045. That’s 67 percent of the goal.
Our matching donors agreed to go ahead and make their donations, even though we didn’t meet the goal, raising the final total to just over $20,000!
What a blessing each of you is to this ministry. More than 100 donations were made through our online giving options. That’s incredible.
