Tennessee church member uses CPR to save boy’s life

WSMV Channel 4

4 year old James Pressley

A 4-year-old old boy is alive because his neighbor, Pegram Church of Christ member Gary Cox, knew CPR. The near-tragic event has been a wake-up call to this Tennessee community, and now the Pegram church is organizing a community CPR day for training others in this life-saving procedure.
See the story of how Gary became the hero in this little boy’s life as reported by WSMV.com in Nashville, Tenn.

An absolutely wonderful story!! It would be so nice if the headline would read “Christian Saves…..”, giving the glory to God/Christ rather than the church… “Church Member Saves…..” I really personally find our use of “church member” instead of “Christian” offensive – disciples are Christians.
