Technology helps draw Oklahoma Christian students

Oklahoma Christian University students Jed Davis and Amelia Gower explore a new iPad from Apple. The university is offering the device to students this fall.
The Oklahoman reports:
Oklahoma Christian University is one of the most technologically advanced schools in the state.
OC students already receive a MacBook laptop and their choice of an iPhone or iPod Touch to operate on the totally wireless campus. This fall, they can pay an upgrade cost and receive an iPad.
But technology is only one reason more than 2,200 students choose to attend the university on its 240-acre campus in far north Oklahoma City, campus officials say.
“It’s an exciting time to be at Oklahoma Christian because of the impact that our students are making in the community and the world,” said Bill Goad, executive vice president.
