OHIO VALLEY UNIVERSITY
Abby Miller, a freshman at Ohio Valley University in Vienna, W.Va., was flipping through a magazine in fall 2006 when she noticed a plug for a national t-shirt contest and entered.
Miller, a member of the Zenia, Ohio, church, submitted the slogan, “I have no self=control” from Romans 8:9, to Ignite Your Faith magazine and was recently selected as runner-up. “We liked Abby’s slogan because it was the very idea of what we were looking for a clever and interesting take on Scripture that would get attention,” said Todd Hertz, the magazine’s associate editor.
