Spotlight: Titus 2 woman honored

RALEIGH, N.C. — The women’s ministry of the Brooks Avenue Church of Christ honored Doratha Chappell Moore with a Titus 2 Tea.

Moore has directed or assisted in more than 100 weddings at the church. Many of those brides returned to honor her and celebrate her survival of multiple bouts with cancer.

Church member Betty Smith said Moore, 82, “has been a living example of Titus 2:3-5 as she supported and ministered to many young women by serving as a mentor, a confidante, a mother and a role model.” Moore and her husband, Don, have been married for 63 years.
