Spotlight: Harding tackles race


SEARCY, Ark. — An American Studies Institute conversation at Harding University explored racial relations and reconciliation.

Harding President Bruce McLarty moderated the recent discussion featuring Fred Gray, former attorney for Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks; Howard Wright, a Harding trustee and alumnus; and Elijah Anthony, a preacher and alumnus.

More than 800 people heard the discussion in Benson Auditorium.
