Serving Souls from Spain to Ecuador
MADRID, Spain — Juan Gabriel Cornejo is a man of ministry — on three continents.
The son of a minister in the South American nation of Ecuador, he traveled across the Atlantic Ocean to work with Churches of Christ in the Spanish capital. There, he served as a youth minister, visited the sick and elderly and participated in evangelism on the streets of Madrid and in the mountain village of Guadarrama.

He studied in an extension program of the Baxter Institute, a church-supported ministry training school in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Recently he earned his Diploma for Leaders and Christian Workers.
He plans to return to Ecuador and work alongside his father, John Elias Cornejo, as they serve a Church of Christ in El Puyo, a city near the rainforests of the Amazon River.
