SPORTS – New manager ‘gets it’

HOUSTON — Bo Porter, the new manager of the Houston Astros, is a member of the Westbury Church of Christ in Houston.
Greg Glenn, head of Westbury Christian School, describes Porter as a person of strong faith.
“He really gets it from a spiritual standpoint,” Glenn said of Porter. “He  knows who’s blessed him.”
Glenn’s son Cody, a sophomore pitcher at Louisiana State University, played on a youth select team coached by Porter.
“He played a big role in Cody’s development,” Greg Glenn said of Porter. “Bo is just an amazing teacher.”
