Rwandan President Paul Kagame visited the campus of Greater Atlanta Christian School yesterday.
“Thank you very much for the warm welcome,” he told cheering GAC students. “I bring you greetings from the children and parents of Rwanda. I also bring their love to you. We look forward to working with you and having you visit our country.”
The president discussed plans for a sister school near the Rwandan capital, Kigali. Kagame’s visit follows a visit by a group from the Atlanta school in 2008.
Tomorrow Kagame visits Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City to address graduating seniors, including a group of Rwandan students who attended OC through an international scholarship program.
