Readers Respond: Fire! Or is that … campfire?

The fire department came after worried neighbors dialed 9-1-1 upon hearing shouts of “FIRE!” But they were unable to extinguish the burning flames these campers had for Christ.
Shortly after we had purchased the camp ground in Gray, Maine torelocate Ganderbrook Christian Camp, we were having the first camp session.
We taught the campers a fun song about Ms. O’Leary’s cow thatkicked a bucket over and caused the great Chicago fire. At the end ofthe song it says, “And when the cow kicked it over she blinked her eyesand said, “There’ll be a hot time in the old town tonight, fire, fire, fire.
Singing that song around a camp fire one night the campersshouted “fire, fire, fire” very loud. One of the nearby neighbors of the camp heard it and called the fire department, and they came out toput the fire out.
But they were not able to put out the fire. The campers continued on fire for Christ.
