‘Over-the-top lip dub video’ aims to help Puerto Rico hurricane victims

Kentucky church plans mission trip to do recovery work after Hurricane Maria.

PADUCAH, Ky. — The Reidland Church of Christ is raising money to send a mission group to help Puerto Rico — still battling to recover from Hurricane Maria six months ago.

To highlight its effort, the church produced what leaders call “a fun and over-the-top lip dub video for social media.”

The lip dub is a mashup of 10 current and past contemporary Christian music hits on the themes of mission and love for others, associate minister Brian Brophy said.

For more information on the fund-raising campaign, see the congregation’s crowdfunding website.
