‘Our prayers are being answered,’ says Alabama minister who distributes Bibles in Cuba

WHNT in Huntsville, Ala., reports: 

For those few Americans who have been inside Cuba in the past 50 years, Wednesday’s surprise announcement on plans to rebuild relationships with the communist county is an answer to their prayers.

One American who has been to Cuba is a minister here in Huntsville. 

“Oh my this the greatest thing that has happened in the last 50 years,” Minister Gary Bradley at Mayfair Church of Christ says. “The place has gone wild, over the possibilities of this, this is not window dressing I hope, this is going to be real,” Bradley added.

Bradley and his congregation raised more than $40,000 to purchase bibles to pass out to the people of Cuba. The mission began four years ago with a few thousand bibles. In January the church will distribute more than 20,000 bibles.

“Our prayers are being answered,” Bradley says. “This will help us do more work easier in that county and that will make life better for the people who live there.”
