As seen on WTAP-TV in Parkersburg, W.Va.:
Students with Ohio Valley University are offering helping hands this weekend, all across the valley.
It’s called a flash serve. Just like a “flash mob,” but instead of dancing, the students are drawing attention by serving.
“The flash serve consists of students from Ohio Valley University coming into the community trying to serve and give back to the community. One of our strategic initiatives this year is linking community and learning so this is one way that we’re able to do that,” says OVU Executive Vice President, Jeff Dimick.
Students were literally all over the valley participating in a variety of service acts.
