North Dakota church, disaster relief ministry help Minot flood victims
A North Dakota television station reports that the Minot Church of Christ is doing its part to help residents after this summer’s devastating flooding.
NBC affiliate KFYR in Bismarck, N.D., reports:
The church partnered with the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort to help bring much needed supplies into the area. The supplies will be for first come first serve, but Minister Daniel Kelly said more items will be sent to Minot as the community needs it.
Minister Kelly said, “We’ve got pillows, blankets, things such as that. We`ve got shovels, rakes, brooms. We’ve got bleach, cleaners, gloves, all these different kind of working material to help people get back on their feet.”
