Members of Churches of Christ in North Carolina are mourning the death of Aaron Craig Allgood, who was killed Thursday in a wreck blamed on a drunk driver.
Allgood, 24, attended the Fuquay-Varina Church of Christ.
The victim’s parents, David and Kathy Allgood, are members of the same congregation.
David Allgood serves as chairman of the board for Carolina Bible Camp in Mocksville, N.C.
“My heart breaks for them,” said Lisa Brewer, a friend of the family and member of the Wilkesboro Church of Christ.

May God’s Holy Spirit bring comfort and peace of mind to the Allgood family. They will be in our prayers here in Alabama. I’m going to post this on Facebook to encourage as many Christian friends as possible to lift the Allgood family up in prayer. We also need to pray for the other driver who allegedly caused this wreck that God will use this to cause this individual to turn to Him and take the necessary actions to get sober. This individual will have to live with this on his or her mind the remainder of their life.Stanley CookJanuary, 5 2013How horrible to hear of the loss of a young person but even more so when it’s due to the actions of a drunk driver! We have a son-in-law who is almost constantly driving drunk and worry some day he’ll be guilty of this horrible action! Prayers for the family of this young person but also to that of the drunk driver that s/he might realize the need to stop their destructive behavior!Sue SimonsJanuary, 5 2013We are so sorry for your loss…..it is especially hard when it’s your child, as we know. As brothers in Christ, we will pray for you……..only He can give solace.Pebble TedfordJanuary, 11 2013
