David Glasscock, preacher for the Beaver Church of Christ in Oklahoma, with the “EMT of the Year” prize by the Oklahoma EMT Association. Glasscock first worked as an emergency medical technician in Kansas and has served as Beaver County EMS director since 1994.

LaChappelle
Laura LaChappelle, a member of the Covington Church of Christ in Georgia, as the Georgia History Teacher of the Year. The award was given by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
Allan Trimble, an elder of The Park Church of Christ in Tulsa, Okla., with induction into the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame. Trimble won 13 state football championships as head coach at Jenks High School in the Tulsa area.
