AWARDED

David Glasscock, preacher for the Beaver Church of Christ in Oklahoma, with the “EMT of the Year” prize by the Oklahoma EMT Association. Glasscock first worked as an emergency medical technician in Kansas and has served as Beaver County EMS director since 1994.

David Glasscock was honored by the Oklahoma EMT Association.

Jeff Dimick, as chief operations officer, Gary Jones, as assistant dean of students, and Bill Goad, as chief analytics and planning officer, for Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City.

Jeremy Daggett, as director of the Latin American international studies program, for Harding University in Searcy, Ark.

David Srygley, as chief academic officer, for Nations University in New Orleans. 


HONORED

LaChappelle

Laura LaChappelle,  a member of the Covington Church of Christ in Georgia,  as the Georgia History Teacher of the Year. The award was given by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.

Allan Trimble,  an elder of The Park Church of Christ in Tulsa, Okla., with induction into the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame. Trimble won 13 state football championships as head coach at Jenks High School in the Tulsa area.
