Benavides
Michael Benavides, a member of the West Huntsville Church of Christ in Alabama, the Mr. and Mrs. Lee Holder Memorial FHU Bible Scholarship for the fall semester at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn.
Rick and Benita Lanning, the Friend to Youth award from Florida College in Temple Terrace. The couple has served Churches of Christ in Minneapolis for 32 years.
Joey Davis, the Alumnus of the Year award and Sherry Brown, the Living Flame Award from the Memphis School of Preaching in Tennessee.

Lee Solomon, second baseman for the Lipscomb University Bisons, selected by the San Diego Padres in the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft.
He is the 30th player in the Nashville, Tenn., university’s history to be picked in the MLB draft.
