Dana Chamblee Carpenter, associate professor of English at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn., with the Claymore Award at the Killer Nashville Writer’s Conference, which honors writers of thriller, mystery and historical thriller novels. Carpenter’s “Bohemian Gospel” is slated for release in fall 2015.
