From Ukraine to Uvalde, we go where the news is

“The right person to join our news team.” That’s how we described the addition of Audrey Jackson to The Christian Chronicle’s staff last summer.

Nearly a year later, we thank God for the journalistic talents that Audrey, a 2021 graduate of Harding University, has brought to the Chronicle. The Associated Church Press recently honored Audrey as “Best Emerging Journalist.” Just in recent weeks, Audrey has traveled to places ranging from Ukraine to Uvalde to report real news that honors God.

Audrey and our summer intern, Gabriel Huff, drove down to South Texas this past weekend to talk to Christians mourning the 19 children and two teachers killed in the shooting at Robb Elementary School. These types of assignments are never easy. We appreciate Audrey and Gabriel taking on this one.
