Women in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, study the Bible by candlelight during a power outage.

A terrible milestone

It’s been one year since the war in Ukraine began. Since the first bombs fell on Feb. 24, 2022, The Christian Chronicle has covered the conflict and its impact on Churches of Christ worldwide. We sent reporters to the besieged nation to see firsthand the work of Ukrainian Christians distributing relief supplies and rescuing those stranded on the front lines. We saw the work of Christians and churches in Romania, Slovakia and Poland as they served ever-growing numbers of refugees. And we talked to members of Churches of Christ in Russia to get their perspective on the conflict.

Hear more about the conflict in the latest episode of The Christian Chronicle podcast. And read our ongoing coverage of the war.
