COVID-19: Healing Hands donates thousands of masks and gloves to hospitals
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In an effort to help equip hospitals…
Don’t get me wrong. I would love for you to honor The Christian Chronicle with a gift on this special Giving Tuesday.
Erik Tryggestad
But what I would really love is for you to reach out and also support ministries serving on the front lines. That could be your local food bank. It could be Meals on Wheels. Maybe your congregation is taking up a special collection to help victims of this pandemic — those suffering physically and those who have lost their jobs.
A lot of the ministries we cover — Bible correspondence programs, Christian universities, international well-drilling and drought relief groups — depend on annual fundraising dinners and other in-person events to generate the funds they need to operate. Those events aren’t happening now, and these ministries also need our support.
Here at the Chronicle we’ve taken a significant hit to our advertising revenue as more and more fundraisers, conferences and lectureships have canceled.
Thankfully, the internet and postal mail still work! That’s why we’re doing everything we can to provide ways for our fellow ministries to get their message out.
The funds we receive on #GivingTuesdayNOW will help us offset our lost revenue and enable us to continue serving these ministries.
We’re so thankful for every gift, no matter the size. Every dollar, every dime makes a difference.
You have the chance to be a hero for the churches and ministries that daily perform heroic acts that give glory to our Father.
Thank you, and thanks again for helping us bring you real news that honors God.
