Move to Church of Christ is ‘one of the biggest blessings God has given us,’ says food pantry board member

The Neighborhood Food Pantry has a new home.
After 12 years at First Presbyterian Church, they’ve moved down the street a few blocks to 8th and Harrison Church of Christ.Nancy Cooper is a board member.“Our move to the Church of Christ has been one of the biggest blessings God has given us,” Cooper said. “The clients say they really are enjoying the move, and the Church has opened their arms and doors to us without reserve. We have seen God’s grace at work.”Rob Sparks is the minister at Eighth and Harrison Church of Christ.“We are absolutely thrilled to have the chance to partner with the Neighborhood Food Pantry,” Sparks said. “They are an amazing group of people and they do an important job in our community.“While they have thanked us for agreeing to host them when they needed a new home, their partnership has really been a blessing for us. We are privileged and honored to be able to share the work of the kingdom with such a Christlike group each week.”
