Missions Resource Network celebrates 10 years
DALLAS — In its 10 years of existence, Missions Resource Network has equipped more than 200 congregations across America for global outreach. The ministry also has provided counseling and support services for more than 400 missionaries worldwide.
Those were among the highlights director Bob Waldron told 400 guests who attended the networks’ recent
benefit dinner and 10th anniversary celebration.
The ministry, based in Bedford, Texas, seeks to help churches acquire a strategic vision for missions and equip them to send church-planting teams.
“Seven church-planting mission teams coached and mentored by MRN are now planting churches on four continents,” Waldron said.
During the celebration, the ministry’s board of trustees presented Royce Money, president of Abilene Christian University in Texas, and his wife, Pam, with the Founder’s Award in appreciation for their dream that resulted in the formation of Missions Resource Network.
The annual Antioch Award, honoring a church that has modeled good stewardship in global missions, was presented to the Sunset Church of Christ in Lubbock, Texas.
Doris Clark and Dr. Amanda Madrid, leaders of Mission Predisan, a compassion ministry in eastern Honduras, were presented the Crystal Globe Award for more than 20 years of distinguished service.
