Minister’s family welcomes quads
HAVEN, Kan. — The proud parents of a 5-year-old son named Cullen, Lance and Jennifer Morrisett wanted another child.
God blessed them with four.
Quadruplets Emma Elizabeth, Kaden Zachary, Lane Dalston and Bennett Grant were born March 1 at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix.
“We were scared out of our wits at first,” said Lance Morrisett, minister of the Haven Church of Christ, about 25 miles northwest of Wichita.
Jeremiah 29:11 provided them with strength: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
Jennifer Morrisett, who worked as an administrative assistant for The Christian Chronicle from 1993 to 1998, said the babies are doing great.
“We just sit and watch them sleep and just are in awe of how perfect they are,” she said. “It’s just fun to watch them and hold them and rock them.”
