Michigan church members on a mission trip — to their community
The Lake Orion Review in Michigan reports:
Starting this week, the Lake Orion Church of Christ began lending volunteers to the local community to give a little bit of extra summertime help.
From July 31 to Aug. 4, volunteers from the Church of Christ will be out in the streets and neighborhoods of Lake Orion and Oxford for the 9th annual “Mission: Possible” weeklong service project.
Last year church volunteer teams helped over 30 neighbors, families, seniors and anybody who needed an extra hand with functions like cleaning, organizing, painting, landscaping, simple plumbing, light carpentry and general landscaping at their homes.
