McCoy is No. 2 in Heisman vote
NEW YORK — Colt McCoy, a faithful church member who never fails to give God credit for his accomplishments, finished second in voting for the Heisman Trophy.
The University of Texas quarterback lost out to Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford in balloting for college football’s top award.
McCoy, who attends the Westover Hills church in Austin, Texas, plans to return for his senior season and could compete for the Heisman again.
His parents, Brad and Debra McCoy, who joined him at the Heisman ceremony Dec. 13, are members of the Eastside church in Graham, Texas.
