Longtime physical resources employee dies in fall at Harding University

The Link student news website at Harding University in Searcy, Ark., reports:

Funeral services will be held Friday for a Harding University physical resources employee who died Wednesday after falling from the rooftop of the Mabee business building Tuesday morning.
Teddy Joe Pike, 61, was installing heating and air equipment on an addition to the building when he fell and landed on the second story’s concrete floor.
Pike, an organ donor, was kept on life support at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock to maintain his organs for transplantation, according to Liz Howell, assistant to the president for alumni and parent relations.
Pike, of Quitman, Ark., was a carpenter and welder at Harding for 21 years.
