Ladies Day on the reservation
Cherokee, N.C. — “The Joy of Christian Living” served as the theme of a recent Ladies Day at a mission church on the Cherokee Indian Reservation.
Twelve women from the West Seventh church in Columbia, Tenn., helped with the event, speaker Betty Bender said.
Four women took part in a skit to emphasize the theme, and six others led discussions in a breakout session.
The Ladies Day drew 62 women from the reservation and surrounding communities.
