The Louisville Courier-Journal in Kentucky reports:

The unfinished walls of Westport Road Church of Christ’s new worship center and multipurpose building in Woodlawn Park are inscribed with Scripture verses and well-wishes written by church members.
“God bless our new addition and church family,” member Ray Hudson wrote on one support beam at the site, near the new Westport Road interchange with the Watterson Expressway.
While the church at 4500 Westport Road is looking forward to the expected completion of the $3.2 million complex by the end of January, it could also bring about a possible legal dispute over access with the city.
