In Asia, Christians ‘exemplify unity’
On tropical Palawan island in the western Philippines, 164 members of Churches of Christ from 14 countries gathered to worship, fellowship and dream about God’s plan for their continent.
Michael McLain, a church member in Japan, said he was glad to find fellow Christ-followers “who are not satisfied with status-quo Christianity and believe something truer is possible.”
Carranza, who worships in Manila, Philippines, and helped organize the forum, said she also sees a new breed of believers in Asia who “exemplify unity and the desire to grow as the body of Christ.”
