Illinois church’s Give-Away answers prayers
The Decatur Herald & Review in Illinois reports:
DECATUR – Clara Richardson has been out of work for close to two years, so money is tight.

“A friend of mine told me about it,” she said. “It helps me out.”
The annual event includes free blood pressure checks, information on classes at Richland Community College, devotional time – this year, evangelist Samuel Pounds from Florida – lunch and games for the kids.
“Many people from our congregation, even people from the community, have donated goods,” minister Carlos Caldwell said. “The goal is to invest in our community. What we want to do is motivate people to look after their health and education, whatever they need.”
