Harding student killed in wreck on return to campus
SEARCY, Ark. — Students at Harding University in Searcy, Ark., gather to sing, pray and share memories after junior Kailey Massey, 20, died in an automobile crash Jan. 11.
The accident occurred on Interstate 30 in southwest Arkansas as Massey was returning to campus from her hometown in Texas. Funeral services were conducted Jan. 16 at the Bammel Church of Christ in Houston.
Massey spent a semester in Zambia on a Harding study-abroad program. She was tireless about learning and serving, program director Jeremy Daggett told The Link at Harding, and “she inspired others to do that as well.”
